Their two children have grown up on the property, contributing to its special aura that only a happy family that lives a good, healthy island life can bring.

As head of the Naxos Hotel Association, Yannis is also involved with upgrading hospitality on the island, leading by example with his own hotel. He has a passion for winemaking in the property's modest cellar, and loves the opportunity to relax over a glass of wine with the guests. Maria on the other hand ensures that there's an air of sophistication on the property, from the gourmet teas and traditional menu to the minimalist design and healthy cuisine. She also teaches local cooking in her spare time and is behind the delicious panoply of dishes on the menu.
