To begin with, the main town boasts an archeological museum and a Byzantine museum, as well as a gallery for pottery and marble works (some of the works from this gallery adorn the walls and floors of our hotel). You'll also find an archeological museum in Sagri and a numismatic museum in Filoti, among others. The mountain village of Apeiranthos, which is well worth a visit, has five different small museums: archeological, geological natural history, artworks and folklore. Some of the smaller ones have varying opening hours and others are available by appointment, so ask the reception to call ahead and find out.
